1. Who are you? Ingrown Toenail Help provide online podiatrist consultations at a reasonable cost from the comfort of your home. We can help you solve your ingrown toenail problem.

2. Are your podiatrist trained and qualified? All our podiatrists are NHS trained, fully qualified and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered.

3. How do I book a consultation? Booking a consultation is easy. Choose a day and time that is suitable for you. Each appointment is 30 minutes. Once you have paid you will be asked for some contact info and some details such symptoms, medical history, regular medication etc. The consultation will take place on WhattsApp, so it is essential you have this app.

4. Why do you use WhattsApp? It is widely available and easy to use. It is safe and secure.

5. Can I use your service from anywhere in the world? Yes we provide this service to anywhere in the world as long as you have access to WhattsApp.

6. Do you have evening and weekend appointments? Yes we do. Say goodbye to waiting rooms or waiting for weeks for an appointment. Just select a time that suits you and book a consultation.

7. How much does an appointment cost? Our consultations are priced at a very reasonable £14.

8. Are my records kept secure? Protecting security is very important to us, that is why we use WhattsApp. WhattsApp protects the personal calls and messages of users with default end-to-end encryption, so no one but the intended recipient can hear or see them.” Your records will be held securely and all staff are trained in how to keep your records secure.

9. What if I need antibiotics? Antibiotics can be provided by your General Practitioner (GP). We will provide you with a prescription request that includes details of the consultation. This includes symptoms, diagnosis and photographs. Most GPs accept this and prescribe appropriate antibiotics without the need for a face to face appointment. However, some may still want to see you for a consultation. This is out of our control. There is no charge for a prescription request, however, we will need to see photo id before we can provide one.

10. Can I be referred to a specialist?

If you need nail surgery you have the option to self refer to the NHS. However, this can take a long time due to NHS waiting times. If you would like to have nail surgery sooner you can pay to have it done in a local private podiatrist clinic. We can find a HCPC registered private podiatrist local to you. If you like we can forward your details to 3 local clinics. They will contact you to discuss how they can help. This service is free of charge to yourselves. Note, if you proceed with nail surgery we will make a small charge to the private podiatrist clinic.

11. Can you treat children? Yes, any child under 16 will need to have someone with parental responsibility present during the consultation.

12. Do you share records with my own GP? No we do not, however you can print a copy of the consultation and hand that into your GP practice if you want.

13. What do I need to attend my online appointment? Smart phone with camera, WhattsApp, internet connection.

14. What happens if I have technical issues during my appointment? We will rebook at no cost. If the problem persists we will refund in full.

15. Are there any hidden costs? No

16. Do I need to pay for my prescription request? No.

17. Will I need to provide photographic id in order to get a prescription request? Yes such as a passport or driving licence.

18. How long will my appointment last? Each consultation is scheduled for upto 30 minutes.

19. What if I miss my appointment?

We will contact you at the beginning of your appointment time and again after 10 minutes. If you fail to respond your appointment will be cancelled. Unfortunately, in this situation we cannot offer a refund.

20. Can I cancel? Yes you can but it has to be 24 before your appointment time so that the appointment can be offered to someone else. Just contact us at contact@ingrowntoenailhelp.co.uk and we will refund you to your original payment method within 28 days.

21. Which payment options do you offer? We offer over a dozen payment options to ensure you can pay via a method that suits your needs. All payments are processed securely by a third-party payment provider, and are protected by encryption.

22.What is a podiatrist? Podiatrist are foot health specialist, they are professionally trained and qualified. They have knowledge skills and experience of ingrown toenails.
